Travelers' Tavern | Beard Balm

A good beard carries a scent better than any collar. Travelers' Tavern is the balm for that job: tobacco, leather, and warm vanilla that wear like a favorite jacket, on a base built to keep your beard shaped and soft all day. Beeswax and stearic acid set the hold. Tallow and shea butter handle the conditioning. Jojoba and sweet almond oil keep it light, sinking into the skin underneath instead of greasing the surface.

Scent

Pink pepper and a brush of citrus first. Tobacco and leather at the heart. Sandalwood, amber, and warm vanilla settling into the base. The high beeswax mutes it in the container; it warms open on your hands and in the beard.

Hold

Medium. Enough to keep a beard in shape through a workday without stiffening, leaning conditioner more than sculptor.

4 oz net weight in a black screw-top container.

What's not in it

No petrolatum, no mineral oil, no silicone slickness. Balms built on those feel smooth for an hour and greasy by lunch. This one is wax, butter, and oil, and it behaves all day.

Safety / Allergies

Contains beeswax and sweet almond oil (tree nut). Avoid if you have a tree nut allergy. Patch test if you have known sensitivities.

Use & Storage

Scrape a small amount from the container, warm between palms until soft, then work through the beard from root to tip. Doubles as a body balm. Store in a cool, dry place out of direct sun.
