Dirty Mint | Bar Soap

Get clean with Dirty Mint. Spearmint hits first, cool and green and plenty of it; the dirty is the sweet tobacco underneath, honey and warm woods keeping it earthy and low. It's also the simplest bar we make: tallow, a few good oils, shea butter, and a double dose of kaolin clay. Kaolin is one of the gentlest clays in the craft, and the heavier hand here is the whole trick. It thickens the lather to a silky slip, cleans gently and thoroughly, absorbs excess oil, and rinses off without a hint of tightness.

Scent

Spearmint up front, crisp and cooling, and a lot of it. Sweet tobacco through the heart, built from honey and warm woods. Fresh enough to wake you up, warm enough that you won't smell like toothpaste.

Weight

Approximately 4.2 oz. Hand-cut, so size and weight vary slightly bar to bar.

What's not in it

No detergents, and that difference is the whole point. Detergent bars clean by stripping, which is where the tight, dry after-shower feel comes from. Real tallow soap cleans just as well and leaves your skin's natural oils where they belong.

Use & Storage

Lather between wet hands or with a cloth. Let the bar dry on a draining dish between uses.
